Angelo Del Russo, Founder/CEO

Angelo Del Russo followed his passion for construction early in his career, by joining Deerpath Construction Company in 1972. In just three years, thanks to his diligence, creativity and leadership, he rose to the level of senior vice president. Energized by his desire to create a construction company devoted to quality and craftsmanship, Mr. Del Russo incorporated Del-Sano Contracting in 1975. Today, he proudly oversees a company that regularly ranks as one of the top performers in the New York/New Jersey metro area.

Mr. Del Russo graduated from The New Jersey Institute of Technology with a degree in civil engineering technology. He has served as Secretary and Treasurer of E.L.A Associates, published numerous industry articles, and is a member of several trade and business associations including the United States Green Builders Council.
Robert Montesano, President

Robert Montesano built his strengths and understanding of the construction industry over the course of a career that currently spans more than 25 years. Starting as a union apprentice carpenter, Mr. Montesano’s talents and accomplishments quickly had him promoted to project manager and eventually president. His desire to constantly reinforce his field experience with education led to the sharpening of his skills in many areas including construction supervision, management and business law. Mr. Montesano’s oversight of the firm’s process flow, human resource management and budget efficiencies are driven by his commitment to client satisfaction. His diversified background and leadership enables him to guide the Del-Sano team to continued growth and success.
Anthony J. Ammiano, Treasurer/CFO

Anthony J. Ammiano has been handling the accounting, legal, insurance and financial programs for the internal corporate structure of Del-Sano since 1985. Using the latest version of construction-oriented software, Anthony monitors each project using ProfitBuilder Software for management of project costs, budgeting, accounts receivable, accounts payable and all other financial details inherent to each project. Mr. Ammiano also oversees payroll and interacts with vendors, subcontractors, project managers, owners and supervisors for each job site concerning any circumstance that relates to or may impact financial matters.
Edward Halbach, VP of Estimating

Edward Halbach has been cost-engineering and estimating successful projects for Del-Sano since 1984. He acquired his technical knowledge at Newark College of Engineering for Architecture in Jersey City, N.J. He also attended the Technical Institute for Drafting and the Institute of Lighting and Design. For over 40 years, Mr. Halbach has been costing, estimating, consulting on design, value engineering and establishing conceptual estimates for many unique and diverse projects, many costing in excess of $60 million. His broad range of experience has covered site work, utilities, new construction, building rehabilitation and interiors. Mr. Halbach’s expertise covers project types including healthcare, retail, multi-unit housing, educational facilities, industrial and corporate, as well as historic renovation.
Mike Petronaci, Project Manager

Mike Petronaci has been in the construction industry since 1975, when he received his electrical contractor’s license. For the next 23 years, he acquired a broad range of experience working as an electrical contractor for major commercial and industrial clients handling millions of dollars worth of diversified and highly technical MEP projects. Mr. Petronaci’s capabilities include working with heavy electrical gear, managing service installation to today’s sophisticated technical communication, and installing fire alarm systems and integrating them into the construction envelope. Mr. Petronaci and his broad range of experience merged with Del-Sano in 1998, when he became a project manager. His talent has given Del-Sano the unique ability to look at projects proactively and troubleshoot not only electrical applications but the related HVAC and mechanical systems designed for each project.
Walter Rice, Project Manager

Walter Rice joined the Del-Sano team in February 2007. Mr. Rice has acquired an impressive track record that began when he was a field supervisor for commercial plumbing installations and moved forward when he launched his own company. For 11 years, Mr. Rice supervised project management and served as the owner’s representative for industrial construction and large capital equipment installations for major companies. His 37 years in the construction industry have afforded him a wealth of experience that enables him to simultaneously manage several multimillion-dollar projects.
Michael A.J. Wolz, Project Manager, AIA, CSI, CCCA, LEED AP

Michael A.J. Wolz started with Del-Sano Contracting in 2008 as a Project Manager. He graduated from Syracuse University with a Bachelor of Arts in Architectural History and later studied at The Pratt School of Architecture to graduate with a Bachelor of Architecture degree. Michael’s has managed more than $188 million projects, overseen new construction, conducted QA/QC and constructability reviews, and prepared comprehensive reports for several municipal and educational projects. Michael is a registered Architect, Certified Construction Contract Administrator and also a Construction Documents Technologist.
Ed Dever, Purchasing Manager, LEED AP

Mr. Dever joined the Del-Sano team in 2007. Ed is a profit - oriented, management professional with broad - based experienced in business management and home building business. Solid history of achievements, in conjunction with acquired skills and knowledge have resulted in a quick ascent to positions of increasing scope and responsibility. Recognized by superiors, associates, and subordinates for many admirable characteristics: highly organized, dedicated, profit driven, and strong leadership abilities.
Dave Hriczko, VP Construction & Safety Management,
LSP, CSC, MSA.


Dave Hriczko is a certified OSHA administrator who monitors the implementation of the Del-Sano safety program at job sites and is available to company project managers for consultation on constructability reviews for their various projects. Mr. Hriczko has been with Del-Sano for over 30 years. Dave has achieved his great success in the management and coordination of many of our multimillion-dollar construction contracts. His experience includes everything from ground up construction to the most intricate renovations and modernizations.

Mr. Hriczko attended Newark College of Engineering, where he studied mechanical engineering, and he has completed continuing education credits in project management, construction law and OSHA-certified training.
Peter Montesano, Project Superintendent

Peter Montesano joined Del-Sano in 1993. He has been involved in construction for over 25 years, rising through the ranks of the industry as a carpenter, carpenter foreman and, for the last 11 years, a construction supervisor. Mr. Montesano has extensive experience in building layout, site work, mechanical and electrical systems, and trade coordination. He has enhanced his expertise with intensive programs in construction management, covering managing construction projects and construction management of renovation projects.

Mr. Montesano graduated from Bloomfield High School in 1978, then went on to RETS Electronic School, graduating in 1980, and the New Jersey Carpenters Apprentice School, graduating in 1992. He has been studying construction management at New York University since 1999 and continues taking OSHA safety courses. On February 2, 2007, Mr. Montesano completed the OSHA 30-hour Construction Industry Outreach Program.
Anthony Travisano, Project Superintendent

Anthony Travisano joined Del-Sano in 1990, with 15 years’ prior experience in all facets of the construction industry. He is responsible for daily construction site operations inclusive of technical construction aspects of the contract documents. Anthony is often commended for his diligent approach to sensitive user needs and integration of all systems with existing operations. He has supervised many of our healthcare projects where construction activities must be integrated with the internal daily needs of the healthcare facility and its patients. Anthony enhances the owner’s interest through coordinated organization; code enforcement; and management of subcontractors, architects, and engineers.
Gerard Russomano, Project Superintendent

Gerard Russomano joined the Del-Sano team in 1985. He graduated from Bloomfield High School and studied construction technology at Essex County College, graduating in 1982. Gerard then joined the Carpenters Local #1342 Apprenticeship Program and remained in it until 1984.
John Falzarano, Project Superintendent

John Falzarano joined Del-Sano in 1987. He graduated from Bloomfield High School and is a member of Carpenters Local #1342. He has worked in all phases of general construction, from interior demolition to total rehabilitation and new construction. John has navigated his career to include layout and construction of interiors; meticulous carpentry; and finishing, framing, and drywall, along with the integrated trades. He is extremely adept at working in facilities that must maintain continuous operations. In 2001, John advanced from job-site carpentry foreman to project supervisor. Some of John’s projects include, but are not limited to The Manalapan Out Parcel, East Hanover retail store, Montclair Metro, and Historical renovation of Garden Vista.
Denise Del Russo, Communications Manager

Denise Del Russo brings to Del-Sano innovative thinking, creative execution and solid industry knowledge. Her talent in bringing new ideas and approaches to the business, combined with her experience and education in communications and public relations, create a unique mix of business acumen and intuition. Using many of today’s latest technologies, Ms. Del Russo has leveraged Del-Sano’s 30 years of success and expertise to establish its market presence in New Jersey and the tri-state area. Ms. Del Russo graduated from Montclair State University.
Maria G. Baptista, Executive Accounting Administrator

Ms. Baptista joined Del-Sano in 2004 and provides administrative support to project managers and the chief financial officer. She is responsible for all documentation pertaining to specific projects, as well as for the Accounting department and the administration of AP/AR and weekly audited payroll reporting.
Kelly Venturo, Project Administrative Assistant

Kelly Venturo joined Del-Sano in January 2007. As an administrative assistant to the construction team, Kelly is involved in projects from the bidding stage through close-out. She coordinates the work on the preparation of bid documents including certifications, insurance and bonding, and works with the Estimating and Marketing departments for additional input of bid requirements. On award of contracts, Kelly handles the receipt of plans and specifications and oversees receiving, stamping, scanning shop drawings and entering vendor submittals into expedition computer programming. As the project progresses, she prepares and executes all correspondence regarding the project, at the direction of the project manager, through to close-out.
Leanne A. Rosado, Project Administrator

Leanne A. Rosado joined the Del-Sano team as a Project Administrator in April 2008. Leanne is involved with the projects from head to toe. She works directly for the Project Manager and is responsible for balancing reports, coordinating schedules, maintaining project spreadsheets, managing communication with clients, generating and preparing department forms and contracts. Her understanding of Architectural, Mechanical, and Structural blue prints make Leanne a great asset to the Del-Sano team.
