Del-Sano Contracting Corp. is now a proud member of the United States Green Building Council. The United States Green Building Council is a 501(c)(3) non-profit community of leaders working to make green buildings accessible to everyone within a generation. The council is a 501(c)(3) non profit organization that certifies sustainable businesses, homes, hospitals, schools, and neighborhoods. USGBC is dedicated to expanding green building practices and education, and its LEEDŽ (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Green Building Rating System.
The Garden Street Lofts located at 158 14th Street in Hoboken, New Jersey is a renovation and new addition to an existing five-story structure built in 1919. Del-Sano will construct 30 luxury condominiums. The ground-floor level will be occupied by retail shops. The project will claim the honor of one of the first to achieve Silver 31 LEED certification (Green Building) in Northeast New Jersey.
In early February 2007, Del-Sano started Historic Restoration work on Passaic Elks Lodge. The work at Garden Vista is being performed according to U.S. Department of Historic Restoration Standards, and the guidelines of the New Jersey Energy Star program. The 56,000 square foot building will accommodate 40 senior living apartment units.
